Fallout Season 2 Coming Dec 2025, Third Season Confirmed
Amazon Prime Video has confirmed a December 2025 release window for Fallout Season 2, alongside an early renewal for Season 3.
During its New York upfront presentation, the streaming service revealed future plans for its post-apocalyptic adaptation of Bethesda's game franchise. The announcement confirms the show's return for a third installment following Season 2's winter premiere—a strong vote of confidence given that production on the second season only wrapped last week.

"The holidays came early this year - we're excited to destroy the world all over again with a third season of Fallout," executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy said in a statement. "Our talented cast and crew, showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, and partners at Bethesda extend our gratitude to Amazon MGM Studios and our dedicated fans as we continue exploring the wasteland together."
The confirmation of a 2025 release comes as a pleasant surprise. Given recent production challenges including California wildfires that temporarily halted filming, many expected Season 2 wouldn't premiere until 2026.
While Amazon hasn't locked in an exact premiere date yet, the confirmation of a 2025 window indicates the post-production process is progressing rapidly.
Warning: Potential spoilers for the Fallout TV series ahead.
