I’ll admit, the team here at Pocket Gamer was initially taken aback by this announcement. Had we covered it previously? No, we hadn’t! It appears that XD Games’ Etheria: Restart is updating so frequently that it feels like two new characters are arriving almost immediately after the last pair.

They’re certainly not lazy reskins or similar fare. Fitting for the post-virtual world of Etheria: Restart, these newcomers represent two distinct fields. Kokardi joins from the Hydra Bank faction. True to his banking roots, he boasts a shadowy, slick persona and abilities designed to boost your team’s damage output.

On the other hand, Mizusumi Aya represents DOKI Entertainment. This proud recorder virtuoso has become a support powerhouse, aiding your squad with cleansing effects, healing, and Skill CD reduction. Deep in the midst of DOKI’s corporate intrigue, she is striving to uncover the truth behind her parents’ demise at the hands of Shan Hoi Enterprise.

You’ll have the chance to summon both Kokardi (Emberweave) and Mizusumi Aya (Resonant Sound) during the upcoming limited-time banner event, which runs from October 2nd to October 23rd, 2025.
