Disney Dreamlight Valley: Where To Find Mussels

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Storybook Vale expansion introduces a variety of new ingredients, some more elusive than others. Mussels, a key ingredient described as a water-filtering mollusk, present a challenge for some players. Unlike other shellfish, Mussels are only found in specific Storybook Vale biomes, and their spawn locations can be unpredictable.

Mussel Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Mussels are found on the ground throughout Mythopia, specifically within these areas:

• The Elysian Fields
• The Fiery Plains
• The Statue's Shadow
• Mount Olympus

While some players report easily finding Mussels in these areas, others find them scarce. One player-reported location is near Trial areas, such as the first Trial in the Elysian Fields (Hades' unlock). A cluster of Mussels can also be found behind a hidden bush area in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area may increase Mussel spawns across Mythopia.

Mussel Uses in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Mussels have no crafting uses, unlike other Storybook Vale seafood. Their primary use is as a cooking ingredient in these recipes:

• Garlic Steam Mussels
• Mussel Risotto
• Steamed Mussels

Alternatively, consuming a Mussel restores 150 energy, or you can sell them for 75 Gold Star Coins at Goofy's Stalls.
