Initially announced in 2018, the Devil May Cry anime is confirmed for an eight-episode first season. Studio Mir's involvement promises a visually stunning experience.

Plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, but indications suggest the series will focus on Dante, as depicted in the first three Devil May Cry games, rather than his Devil May Cry 5 iteration. However, any direct connections to the game's storyline are yet to be confirmed. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.

The latest installment in the Devil May Cry game series, Devil May Cry 5, launched in 2019, marking a triumphant return for the franchise after a period of relative inactivity following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. A critically acclaimed action title, Devil May Cry 5 is highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our comprehensive review of Devil May Cry 5 here.
