Dead by Daylight Welcomes Back 2v8 Mode with Resident Evil Collaboration

Dead by Daylight's thrilling collaboration with Resident Evil introduces an electrifying new 2v8 mode. This limited-time event pits iconic Resident Evil villains against a team of familiar heroes in a terrifying showdown.

Take control of two infamous antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker (aka The Puppeteer). These formidable Killers face off against a team of survivors including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong. The battleground? The infamous Raccoon City Police Station.

This unique collaboration marks the first time Nemesis and Wesker team up as Killers in this type of gameplay. Each brings their signature brand of infection-based terror: Nemesis utilizes the T-Virus, while Wesker unleashes the power of Uroboros to hunt Survivors.

In this 2v8 mode, players collect special Resident Evil-inspired herbs. Green herbs heal Survivors, while yellow herbs repair hooks. Even Killers can gather herbs for a temporary speed boost, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.

Experienced Dead by Daylight players should note a significant change: the traditional Power and Perk system has been replaced with a new Class System, offering fresh strategic options for both Killers and Survivors.
