This means you get the Left Behind Ellie-focused prequel DLC, as well as The Last of Us Part 2’s No Return and Lost Levels content. If you've enjoyed the HBO TV series featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey and are curious about the games that started it all, this digital bundle is available for $99.99.

In a recent PlayStation.Blog post, Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann shared details about the upcoming physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition, set to launch on July 10 for $109.99. Pre-orders are currently open. This special edition comes packed with extras like a Steelbook case, game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a heartfelt thank-you letter from Druckmann himself.

Druckmann's post expresses gratitude to the fans: "From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years. This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love."

The Last of Us series first captivated players on the PS3 in 2013. Despite its enduring popularity, the numerous re-releases and remasters have sparked debates among fans and critics. The adventure of Joel and Ellie was enhanced for the PS4 in 2014 and reimagined for the PS5 with a full remake in 2022. The Last of Us Part 2, continuing Ellie's story, was released in 2020 and received its remaster in early 2024. Both titles have also made their way to PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.

The Last of Us Complete consolidates all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic offerings into one comprehensive package. While some may question the need for yet another re-release, the timing aligns perfectly with the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 this Sunday, following the recent greenlighting of Season 3.

For those eager to learn more, delve into discussions on why fans aren't expecting to hear about The Last of Us Part 3 anytime soon, and explore how Neil Druckmann and the team behind the show plan to continue the story in the future.
