Code Geass: Lost Stories Ending Its Global Journey On Mobile Soon!

The strategic tower defense game, Code Geass: Lost Stories, is ending its global mobile run. While the Japanese version will continue, the international servers are officially shutting down. Developed by f4samurai and DMM Games, and published by Komoe, the game, based on the popular Code Geass franchise, launched globally in September 2023 and will cease operations on August 29th, 2024.

Shutdown Date:

August 29th, 2024 marks the final day for global players. Account access will be terminated, and official social media channels will also close on this date. In-app purchases and new downloads are already unavailable.

Reasons for Closure:

While no official statement details the reasons, low download numbers and generally unfavorable global reviews are likely the primary factors. Many licensed anime gacha games struggle to maintain a significant player base outside Japan due to lower spending habits in other regions. The game's relatively short lifespan reflects this trend.

Japanese players, however, can still access and enjoy the game via the Google Play Store. For those seeking alternative gaming experiences, consider checking out the Sky: Children of the Light Tournament of Triumph!
