CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Mysterious Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the VP and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted the need for an "exceptional team" for their ambitious project, Project Hadar. Aspiring developers are encouraged to explore the open roles and join in shaping this exciting new venture.

Unlike their previous successes, The Witcher series (inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski's novels) and Cyberpunk 2077 (derived from a tabletop RPG), Project Hadar introduces players to an entirely new universe crafted by CD Projekt. While specifics are still under wraps, it's clear that this isn't a space horror game. Initially, the development team was small, consisting of only about twenty members, but the project is now scaling up.

Currently, the Hadar team is actively recruiting for various roles, including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiasm from top developers, who call this a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests that Project Hadar is moving from early concepts into full-scale production.

CD Projekt Red is simultaneously managing multiple projects. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural game in a new Witcher trilogy featuring Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are developing a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another title within The Witcher universe.
