Onimusha: Way of the Sword – Unveiling New Details

Targeted for a 2026 release, *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* promises compelling characters, a new protagonist, and engaging enemies. The development team is meticulously recreating the Edo period setting of Kyoto, incorporating real-life historical locations. Their goal is to deliver "ultimate sword fighting action" with visceral combat.

While details on the protagonist remain scarce, we know the game will pit players against Genma, evil creatures, using an Oni Gauntlet—a twist of fate granting our hero this powerful weapon fueled by the souls of defeated foes. The challenge level will be balanced for enjoyment across various skill levels.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny – Remastered for 2025

The 2002 classic, *Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny*, receives a remastered release in 2025, bridging the gap until *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* arrives.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 – Arkveld Awaits

The second *Monster Hunter Wilds* Open Beta test introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging advanced quest. Also included are a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, and online features like Private Lobbies and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first beta can be transferred. Returning elements include the Character Creator, Story Trial, and the Doshaguma hunt.

Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th. The Open Beta 2, featuring cross-play, runs:
