Black Ops 6 Cheaters Kick Players Despite Activision

A video demonstrating the operation of a tool that enables hackers to remove players from Black Ops 6 matches surfaced online in late January. The latest video showing the utility was taken from the Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta, and Activision responded by stating that the vulnerability was fixed before BO6 was released in November. The team always looks into complaints regarding these utilities, and the game's current state is not reflected in this video.

However, players claim that Activision is blatantly lying, as hackers continue to use the utility. As evidence, a video was provided of the program being used during a match on the Nuketown map, which was added to Black Ops 6 a week after the game's release.

Black Ops 6 was the top-selling game in the US last year, according to Circana analysts. For 16 consecutive years, the Call of Duty series has been the top-ranked game in the United States. EA Sports College Football 25, released on consoles in July, was the most played sports game in the United States.

In 2024, U.S. gamers' spending decreased 1.1% year over year, but Circana attributes this to a decline in hardware demand, while spending on add-ons and services rose 2% and 6%, respectively. The second season of Black Ops 6 and Warzone 2, featuring a ninja theme and a crossover with the "Terminator" universe, is set to premiere on January 28.
