First Bird Pokémon Lands in Pokémon GO for Catch Mastery Event!
If you’re diving into Pokémon GO, you’re in for a treat with a series of exciting events, including the much-anticipated Catch Mastery event. Already in full swing are the vibrant Festival of Colors event and the thrilling Might and Mastery event, where the Catch Mastery event serves as a captivating subset.
Introducing the First Bird Pokémon in Pokémon GO!
Mark your calendars for March 16th, as the Catch Mastery event takes flight from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event revolves around Archen, the First Bird Pokémon. Keep an eye out for wild spawns featuring Omanyte and Kabuto, with the possibility of encountering their Shiny variants.
Archen will also make an appearance as a Field Research reward, offering an enhanced Shiny rate. XP bonuses are up for grabs during the event, with double XP awarded for Nice Throws or better, along with Curveball Throws.
Tackle Timed Research tasks focused on catching Rock-type Pokémon. Completing up to 10 sets of challenges grants you 40 encounters with Archen.
Mega Absol Raid Day Is Just Around the Corner
On March 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, the Mega Absol Raid Day kicks off. Absol will gain a powerful new Charged Attack—Brutal Swing. From March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20. Additionally, spin five Gym Photo Discs to collect up to five free Raid Passes, adding up to a total of six for the day.
