"Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Times Unveiled"

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Unlike its predecessors and many other Ubisoft titles, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will have a unified, actual release date with no early access available for purchase. This means everyone gets to dive into the game at the same time, no matter where they are in the world.

The release date for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S is set for 12am local time on March 20. However, PC players will experience different release times depending on the platform they use—either Steam or Ubisoft's own platform, Ubi Connect.

Pre-loading is already available on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, ensuring that fans can jump straight into the action as soon as the game goes live.

There's significant pressure on Assassin’s Creed Shadows to perform well for Ubisoft, especially after several delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's Star Wars Outlaws. Ubisoft has faced numerous challenges recently, including high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations, making the success of Assassin's Creed Shadows even more crucial.

IGN’s review of Assassin’s Creed Shadows awarded it an impressive 8/10, stating, “By sharpening the edges of its existing systems, Assassin’s Creed Shadows creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it’s been honing for the last decade.”
