Announced on Twitter (X) on May 1, this roadmap promises a wealth of new story and gameplay content to keep players engaged and entertained throughout the coming months.

Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap

One of the highlights of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops for Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows). These free content additions will bring a variety of enhancements to the game, including new player abilities, new allies, and new world activities. Ubisoft has promised that these quests will delve deeper into the backstories of beloved characters, enriching the main game experience. These Story Drops are designed to provide continuous engagement and fresh narratives for players.

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of the first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated to launch later this year. This expansion takes players to the unexplored island of Awaji, a new region available post-epilogue of the base game.
