Arknights: Endfield will host an expanded beta test in mid-January 2025, introducing new gameplay elements and operator selections according to Niche Gamer's December 25, 2024 report. Participants can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English language options for both voiceovers and text.
Registration opened on December 14, 2024 for Arknights: Endfield's next beta session. Developer HYPERGRYPH confirms the test will feature 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators, all with "new visual designs, animations, and special effects."
Combat and progression systems underwent revisions based on player feedback. The upcoming test introduces enhanced combo mechanics and a new dodge system, along with refined progression mechanics for a more engaging experience.
The base construction system receives substantial upgrades including new tutorial content. Players can now erect defensive installations and establish manufacturing facilities across multiple outpost locations. Additional improvements include narrative revisions, expanded maps, and puzzle mechanics.
