Apex Legends First ALGS in Asia Goes to Japan

Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Heads to Sapporo, Japan!

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 4 Championships will be held in Sapporo, Japan, marking a significant milestone for the competitive Apex Legends scene. This event, taking place from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025 at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME, will be the first ALGS offline tournament held in Asia.

Forty elite teams will compete for the coveted championship title. The decision to host the tournament in Japan reflects the game's substantial fanbase in the region, responding to community requests for an Asian-based event.

"This is a momentous occasion, bringing our first LAN event to the APAC region," stated EA in their announcement. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, added, "Japan boasts a massive ALGS community, and we've heard the calls for a Japanese offline event loud and clear. We're thrilled to celebrate this milestone at the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome."
