Albion Online Reveals Abyssal Depths Launch Date

Albion Online has officially announced the release date for its next major update, Abyssal Depths. Launching on Android on June 30th, this expansion will transport players into mysterious underground realms. It introduces an intense new PvP experience along with several fiery new mounts.
What’s in Store?
The focus of this update is the Depths—a new extraction-style dungeon designed for two to three players. These confined spaces encourage close-quarters PvP combat where stakes are high, but your equipped gear remains secure. Under the new Orange PvP rules, you only lose items you are carrying upon death, not what you have equipped.
This change makes PvP more accessible, letting players engage without the fear of losing months of hard-earned progress. Once you enter a Depths run, you’ll battle demons and rival players to collect buffs and gather Souls. The climax involves a PvP showdown over a secured vault just before the dungeon collapses.
This new mode is integrated into the Antiquarian’s Den, a fresh underground hub that provides direct access to the Depths, Corrupted Dungeons, and Hellgates. It can be reached from any Royal City or Caerleon, and comes with faster matchmaking and a conveniently located bank.
The Den also introduces the Antiquarian, a mysterious character who monitors your achievements. Your Antiquarian Standing increases the more you fight in the Depths and other underworld zones. Take a look at Abyssal Depths in action in Albion Online.
Rewards available through the Den include a hell-inspired avatar and avatar ring, as well as Demon Cape crests spanning Tiers 4 through 8. Additionally, players can obtain two unique spider mounts: the Hellspinner and the Soulspinner.

Abyssal Depths also brings two new Crystal Weapons. The Truebolt Hammer unleashes ground-based lightning strikes that shield allies while damaging foes. The Stillgaze Staff, part of the shapeshifter arsenal, enables transformation into a Crystal Cobra.
