Batman y Deadpool lideran el regreso del crossover Marvel-DC después de 22 años

La icónica rivalidad entre Marvel y DC pasa a un segundo plano mientras los dos gigantes se unen para su primer cómic crossover desde JLA/Avengers en 2003. Liderando esta colaboración histórica no son otros que Batman y Deadpool.

Según Entertainment Weekly, Marvel y DC están uniendo fuerzas para dos especiales one-shot protagonizados por el Caballero Oscuro y el Mercenario Bocazas. Deadpool/Batman #1 de Marvel, escrito por Zeb Wells (The Amazing Spider-Man) con arte de Greg Capullo (Batman), y Batman/Deadpool #1 de DC, escrito por Grant Morrison (Batman) e ilustrado por Dan Mora (Superman/Batman: World's Finest), incluirán "aventuras secundarias" que emparejarán a otros personajes de Marvel y DC.

Este proyecto marca el primer crossover importante entre Marvel y DC en más de dos décadas, sin contar el Omniverso de Fortnite. Las dos compañías tienen historia de colaboraciones, comenzando con Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man en 1976.

“Estos crossovers ocurren aproximadamente una vez por generación de lectores. Las razones son abiertas a interpretación”, dijo Jim Lee, presidente, director creativo y editor de DC, en una entrevista con EW. “El momento es clave: no quieres que sean demasiado frecuentes. Deben sentirse únicos. Requieren mucha coordinación, colaboración y aprobaciones. Desde lo comercial, los ingresos se comparten, pero el resultado creativo debe estar a la altura del hype”.

Dan Buckley, presidente de Marvel Entertainment, explicó por qué Batman y Deadpool fueron elegidos para encabezar este evento, citando su dinámica química.

“Es un emparejamiento divertido, sencillamente”, dijo Buckley. “Deadpool junto a Batman ofrece humor, emoción y un toque de acción intensa. Nuestro objetivo es crear algo entretenido, resaltar la magina de los cómics y atraer tanto a nuevos lectores como a los que regresan”.
