Netflix enthüllt Kevin Conroys letzte Rolle im Devil-May-Cry-Anime

Netflix adaptiert die Videospielreihe "Devil May Cry" in einen Anime, und wir haben gerade via eines brandneuen Trailers einen aufregenden ersten Einblick erhalten. Die vielleicht spannendste Neuigkeit ist jedoch, dass der verstorbene, legendäre Synchronsprecher Kevin Conroy posthum in dieser neuen Adaption zu hören sein wird.

Bekannt und beliebt als die definitive Stimme von Batman/Bruce Wayne über Jahrzehnte in Animationsfilmen und -serien, ist Conroy in dem Anime als neuer Charakter namens VP Baines zu hören, dessen Voiceover am Anfang der Vorschau zu vernehmen ist.

Nach seiner gefeierten posthumen Leistung in "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3" im Juli 2024 ist es wunderbar, dass Fans eine weitere Gelegenheit haben werden, sein Talent zu genießen. Zu der Besetzung gehören außerdem Scout Taylor-Compton als Mary, Hoon Lee als White Rabbit, Chris Coppola als Enzo und Johnny Yong Bosch als Dante höchstpersönlich.

Showrunner Adi Shankar, bekannt als Executive Producer für Filme wie 2012s "Dredd", "Killing Them Softly" und 2014s "The Voices", wird die Serie leiten. Er ist auch als Executive Producer an einer Adaption von "Assassin's Creed" beteiligt, die 2017 angekündigt, aber noch nicht veröffentlicht wurde – Fans hoffen weiterhin auf deren Verwirklichung.
