Circle_goes_Square_follows (Li
3.5
Anwendungsbeschreibung
A digital well-being live wallpaper that generates unique art.
This interactive wallpaper draws a circle upon touch, while a square travels from your previous tap point to create a trailing effect. The display refreshes after every 3,600 squares are drawn, maintaining a running count of the total shapes on screen.
Rather than equating 3,600 seconds with 3,600 squares—which doesn't align well with typical swipe speeds taking under a second—this design offers a visual representation of time perception and highlights high-activity zones as a heat map. The counter displays in this format:
1d:13h:3600
squares
Experiment with different colors, but don't overdo it; the goal is to reduce screen time while increasing face-to-face interaction.
Built using APDE (Android Processing Development Environment) and packaged via Processing 3.5.3.
