The app also features a unique community aspect: users receive alerts when nearby app users report witnessing the aurora. This user-generated content is enabled by users uploading their own aurora sighting reports after a successful viewing. A premium version, available for in-app purchase, unlocks enhanced technical information, including detailed graphs of Kp-index predictions, cloud cover, solar wind parameters, and additional hidden features AuroraNotifier.
