Hello everyone, and welcome to our weekly roundup! It's time to dive into the exciting updates from the past seven days. This week, Shaun couldn't resist including more than one free-to-play matching puzzle game update, but don't worry, we've got some fantastic updates to share as well. And, of course, you can always catch the latest updates by joining the discussions on the TouchArcade forums. This summary is here to highlight what you might have missed, so let's get started!

Peglin, Free

This week, I'm thrilled to award the coveted UMMSotW to Peglin. The 1.0 update brings exciting new content, including the ability to challenge up to level 20 in Cruciball, a new Slime Hive mini-boss, and a plethora of tweaks, bug fixes, balance adjustments, and other enhancements. While Peglin didn't necessarily need an update, I'm happy to see it get one.

Brawl Stars, Free

It's Brawl Stars time! Get ready for a new event featuring SpongeBob, which is sure to be a hit. Two new Brawlers, Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary), are on their way, along with new Hypercharges for various characters. These updates will roll out over the next few months, but the SpongeBob event should start soon, if it hasn't already.

stitch.,

The latest update for the soothing and satisfying stitch brings more Hoops to play, this time with a martial arts theme. As with any great puzzle game, the theme matters less than the new puzzles themselves. So, update your app and enjoy the new Hoops for a relaxing experience.

Genshin Impact, Free

Genshin Impact has now become Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch. The new region, Natlan, comes with three new characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina, along with new weapons. Expect plenty of new events, stories, and artifacts. While this update is larger than usual, it follows the familiar pattern of Genshin Impact updates.

Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure,

This update for the Apple Arcade game Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure adds one hundred new levels, which is quite substantial. The tournaments have also been refreshed. This should keep players engaged until the next update, though I know how quickly fans of these games can go through levels!

Jetpack Joyride 2,

In this special update for the Apple Arcade sequel to Halfbrick's mega-hit auto-runner, Barry Steakfries escapes to the one place untouched by capitalism – SPACE! It's a shame I can't just leave it at that, but for the sake of formatting, I'll add that Tim Curry, a true treasure, has graced us with many memorable performances. Much love to Mr. Curry.

Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop,

Another matching puzzle game update, but this one is a classic. Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop introduces new character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol in Adventure Mode, and Meena joins as a playable character. Seven new music tracks are available in the shop, along with some bug fixes.

Hearthstone, Free

It's time for Hearthstone! Battlegrounds Season 8, Trinkets & Travels, is on its way. The Trinket Shop replaces Buddies, allowing you to buy Trinkets twice per game with Gold, which can impact the rest of the match. Balancing might be tricky, but that's the nature of Hearthstone updates.

Toon Blast, Free

Toon Blast brings a new episode with fifty levels, featuring a theme involving bees and happiness. Bees are fascinating creatures that help our ecosystem, and while I'm a bit scared of them, I appreciate their role. Here's to hoping they continue to thrive.

Royal Match, Free

I'm torn between wanting King Robert to disappear forever or to keep returning in a cycle of defeat. This update adds one hundred new levels and a new jousting arena, which sounds promising. I can't help but laugh at the ad where King Robert replaces the freezing pregnant lady and her child. Perhaps he should burn his velvet robes to stay warm!

That wraps up our look at last week's significant updates. If I've missed anything, please share in the comments below. Major updates will likely get their own news stories throughout the week, and I'll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the blanks. Have a great week!
