Tarkov Escape Reshaped with 0.16.0.0 Update

Escape from Tarkov's 0.16.0.0 update is here, bringing significant changes and new features! Battlestate Games has released an extensive changelog and a new trailer showcasing the improvements.

Key Features of Escape from Tarkov 0.16.0.0:

• Khorovod Event: A new event featuring special tasks, rewards, and a unique "Khorovod" mode centered around protecting a Christmas tree in six different locations.

• Prestige System: Similar to other shooters, players reaching level 55 can reset their character, retaining some gear and earning prestige-exclusive rewards (achievements, cosmetics, and tasks). Two prestige levels are initially available, with eight more planned.

• Engine Upgrade: The game has transitioned to the Unity 2022 engine.

• Frostbite Effect: A new status effect reducing vision and stamina when characters catch a cold. Alcohol, warmth, and shelter offer relief.

• Winter Themed Enhancements: Various winter-themed additions and map adjustments.

• Customs Map Overhaul: The Customs map boasts updated textures, new objects, and points of interest.

• New Weaponry: Seven new weapons, including two assault rifles and a rocket launcher, have been added.

• Hidden Exfiltration Points: Secret escape routes requiring specific items for discovery.
