Marvel Rivals Announces Balancing Changes in Season 1
Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Major Balance Changes
NetEase Games' developer update reveals exciting changes for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut immediately, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving later.
The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a new game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.
Significant balance adjustments are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant, will receive nerfs to address their overwhelming power in higher-level matches. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to improve their viability.
Further balance tweaks include buffs for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging strategic utilization of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger also receive enhancements to promote diverse team compositions. Jeff the Land Shark's ultimate ability will see adjustments to better align its hitbox with its warning indicators, though no significant power reductions are planned.
While NetEase Games remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, player feedback suggests potential changes to hero bonuses are anticipated. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating considerable player anticipation.
