Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Best Sleeping Spots

Author : Jason Update : Mar 13,2025

Rest is essential in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Sleeping fully restores your health, eliminating the need for excessive food and potions. Here's how to find a place to catch some Z's.

How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Early in the game, securing your own bed is crucial. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll choose to follow either the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl). Both will eventually provide you with a place to sleep.

In my playthrough, I opted for Radovan in Tachov due to its proximity to the starting area. Complete his questline, including the smithing tutorial, and you'll gain access to a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your world map as your designated sleeping spot. A nearby chest provides convenient storage. Whenever you need to heal, simply return here.

Sleeping at Campsites

Inevitably, you won't always be near your bed. Fortunately, numerous campsites are scattered throughout the game world, located along roads and in forests. Some may be occupied by bandits; deal with them first before using the campsite. Empty campsites are also readily available.

These campsites are marked on your map. Interact with the bedrolls to sleep. While comfort is lower than a proper bed, it serves the purpose of health restoration.

As a last resort, you can sleep in NPCs' beds. However, be warned—getting caught might lead to a confrontation with the guards unless you can talk your way out of it.
