Electric State by the Russo Brothers Gets Final Trailer
Netflix has unveiled the thrilling trailer for Electric State, a groundbreaking sci-fi epic directed by the visionary duo Anthony and Joe Russo, celebrated for their work on Avengers: Endgame. The trailer introduces viewers to a compelling narrative led by Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, who portrays a determined young heroine, and Chris Pratt, famed for Guardians of the Galaxy, playing a mysterious wanderer.
Set in a bleak future following a devastating technological collapse, Electric State chronicles the harrowing journey of its protagonist as she traverses the American frontier in search of her lost brother. Accompanying her is a charming yellow robot, injecting a sense of whimsy into the otherwise somber storyline. Drawing inspiration from the imaginative graphic novels of Simon Stålenhag, the film promises a blend of emotional depth and captivating mystery.
The stellar cast also includes Woody Harrelson (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Billy Bob Thornton (Goliath), and Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul). With a screenplay penned by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the writers behind Avengers: Infinity War, Electric State is set to enchant audiences upon its release on March 14, 2025.
