Castle Duels: Tower Defense Drops Update 3.0 With A Lot Of Tweaks!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0: A Global Launch with Clan Warfare and More!
Castle Duels: Tower Defense, after a successful soft launch in June 2024, has officially launched globally with its highly anticipated 3.0 update. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures for players worldwide.
What's New in Version 3.0?
Clans and Clan Competitions: The biggest addition is the introduction of clans, allowing players to team up, trade units, share rewards, and purchase items from a dedicated clan store. Clan participation unlocks at Arena 2. A thrilling Clan Tournament is also available from Arena 5, pitting teams of five against each other in daily quest competitions for top prizes.
Unit Overhauls: Several units have received significant changes:
- Raphael (now Angel): Re-imagined as a support healer, restoring health instead of boosting damage.
- Knight of Light (now Risen): Name change only.
- Forestlord (now Woodbeard): Name change only.
- Riding Hood: Transformed into a long-range damage dealer.
- Golem: Ability range reduced to better suit its melee role.
- Fighter: Shifted to a defense role with a new opponent-repelling ability.
Many units, including Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire, have also received visual updates, enhancing their appearance, particularly at higher merge levels.
Enhanced Gameplay: Castle Duels remains a tower defense game featuring PvP combat and card-based units, offering a strategic and engaging experience.
