Shawn Levy, director de Deadpool y Wolverine , se informa en conversaciones para dirigir una nueva película de Star Wars , con Ryan Gosling potencialmente protagonizando. El Hollywood Reporter dio la noticia de que las negociaciones están en marcha para llevar a Gosling a bordo. Levy ha estado desarrollando este proyecto desde 2022, con un script completado el año pasado.
