El Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket dio a conocer su última expansión, Space Time Smackdown, el 30 de enero, y ha enviado ondas de choque a través de la comunidad debido a la obra de arte de una carta en particular. La tarjeta que causa el alboroto es Weavile Ex, específicamente su variante de arte completo de 2 estrellas. En esta sorprendente imagen, un grupo de tejidos se representa al acecho en las copas de los árboles, las garras están preparadas, aparentemente listas para atacar a un swinub desprevenido debajo.

La obra de arte ha provocado reacciones intensas en las redes sociales, con una publicación de Reddit titulada "¡No Swinub, mira hacia arriba! ¡Mira hacia arriba!" acumulando casi 10,000 votos "Siempre tengo que ser una tarjeta por set que muestra Pokémon en el proceso de matarse directamente", comentó un usuario, reflejando el sentimiento de muchos. Este conjunto contiene 207 cartas, que son más pequeñas que las 286 tarjetas del conjunto genético anterior. Sin embargo, con 52 tarjetas alternativas de arte, estrella y rareza de la corona, Space Time Smackdown ofrece un mayor porcentaje de coleccionables raros en comparación con los 60 genéticos.
