Honkai: Star Rail, titulada "Una nueva aventura en el octavo amanecer", se lanza el 4 de diciembre en plataformas móviles. Esta actualización sirve como capítulo final antes de que el Astral Express viaje al enigmático Amphoreus, la Tierra Eterna, como lo insinúa Black Swan.

La versión 2.7 concluye el arco penaconiano. Antes de partir, el equipo se reconecta con rostros familiares, comparte momentos conmovedores y culmina con una actuación memorable en el Gran Teatro con dos nuevos personajes: Sunday y Fugue.

Sunday, el ex jefe de la familia Oak, ayudado por el travieso Wonweek, ofrece un acto final espectacular. Este personaje imaginario de 5 estrellas cuenta con una habilidad definitiva centrada en la regeneración de energía, otorgando el beneficio "Beatificado" a un compañero de equipo y su invocación.

Fugue, anteriormente conocida como Tingyun, regresa después de los desgarradores eventos de la Versión 1.2. Rescatada por Madam Ruan Mei, emerge como un personaje de Fuego de 5 estrellas que se especializa en destrozar la Dureza del enemigo con su ardiente ataque Definitivo.
