Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th

After a brief delay, the charming puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been pushed back to January 28th, 2025, to allow for additional polishing and optimization.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor captivated players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game's relaxing gameplay, featuring the cultivation of magical plants in the English countryside, earned widespread critical acclaim, solidifying its place among the best puzzle games of 2024.

The delay, announced shortly before the original release date, aimed to ensure a top-tier player experience. While a PS Store page is still pending, pre-orders may be possible closer to the launch date.

The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other platforms, offering a one-time purchase with no microtransactions. Similar to the Switch and Xbox versions, the digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, will likely not be offered on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor's strong critical reception (an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) positions it perfectly to enrich the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its cozy atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and rewarding exploration have resonated with critics and players alike.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. While Balloon Studios remains tight-lipped about their next project, January 28th promises a diverse range of PlayStation releases, including Botany Manor, alongside Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
