Exclusive Emotes Are Up for Grabs as Squad Busters Bids Farewell to Win Streaks
Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! This means the end of the pressure-cooker climb for extra rewards. But don't worry, it's not all bad news.
Why the Change and When?
The Win Streak system, while intended to celebrate player skill, often created unnecessary stress and frustration. To improve the overall player experience, Squad Busters is removing this feature starting December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a permanent record.
As a thank you for participating in the streak system, players who reach certain milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes.
Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on win streaks. The developers explain that this is to maintain game balance between free-to-play and paying players, as coins are crucial for obtaining characters from Reward Chests.
Player reaction to the change is mixed, with some welcoming the less pay-to-win focus and others expressing disappointment over the perceived inadequacy of the compensation.
