El primer avance oficial de "Rust", la película protagonizada por Alec Baldwin, ha sido lanzada, que marcó un momento significativo para el proyecto, empañado por la tragedia durante la producción. El 22 de octubre de 2021, una pistola de apoyo utilizada por Baldwin se descargó accidentalmente, lo que resultó en la muerte del director de fotografía Halyna Hutchins y la lesión del director Joel Souza.
